Scholarship Program

The WHYC Sailing Association will sponsor and award a limited number of scholarships each year to aspiring young sailors from the Westerly area to participate in the Watch Hill Yacht Club Junior Sailing Programs.

Sponsorships and program fee assistance is open to beginning sailors age 9+ and to older juniors with sailing experience who want to fine tune their racing skills. Class size is limited and will determine how many sponsorships are available each year.

Scholarship recipients are determined by a selection committee made up of WHYC Sailing Association Board and the WHYC Junior Sailing Committee.
